Califone Introduces Earpad Covers

The increased use of personal audio technology within classroom learning centers and language labs in schools has led to a greater reliance on the frequent and repeated use of headphones by multiple students. To help educators and students address hygienic concerns, Califone International, Inc., introduces a line of headphone Earpad covers to fit its best selling headphones and headsets.

These protective earpad covers are ideal accessories for headphones located in high-use school settings. The earpad covers fully enclose the ear cushions of the headphone, helping to keep the headphone clean. The black cloth covers also help deflect perspiration in hot, humid conditions and will not affect the overall sound quality. Since the students are no longer in direct contact with the vinyl ear cushions, many will find using the earpad covers to be more comfortable, and are more likely to stay on task.

There are three available sizes: the smallest model, 2800-EC, is designed for use with the company’s award-winning Listening First™ headphones; the 3060EC works on the 3060 series headphones and 3064 series headsets; the 2924EC is for headphones with over-the-ear earcups, which offer the maximum ambient noise-reducing ability such as the 2924 series, 3068AV, SA-740, the wireless series of CLS headphones, the just launched Sound Alert™ headphone, and also on the 3066AV and 3066-USB headsets. Each package contains twenty-four covers (for 12 pairs of headphones).
