Califone Play iPod Videos from a PA

So you got the perfect videos to support your presentation loaded onto your iPod. But not all rooms have either a convenient DVD player or computer to play them – what do you do?

Since you’ll be presenting to an audience, a portable PA system should be provided. The PA419 not only amplifies music, but it can simultaneously play a video from an iPod to a connected TV or projector. What’s more is that, because your PA419 has a docking station for an iPod or iPhone, the number of videos at your disposal is only limited by the capacity of your device! On the control panel of the PA419 is an iPod video out jack to connect an RCA cable to a ‘video in’ on a TV. This feature allows you to stream videos for students to watch and listen to. So during a phys. ed class you can show a workout video for students or an instructional baseball video.

Even better is that whether you’re in a gym, auditorium or at a conference , you can increase the amplification by daisy-chaining additional speakers (by connecting them via a line input) to your PA419 for a wider reach.

After all, playing just audio from a PA is so 20th century.
