Califone The 1st PA to Play Music from 4 Sources
Who remembers when portable PA's had to play recorded audio from only a single built-in player like a cassette?
Audio content now comes in a wider variety of formats. In addition to using the PA for voice amplification, you might also need a multimedia player for CDs as well as a computer to play audio from a USB flashdrive. Still others, according to a recently released poll, are wanting to use their iPhones and iPods to play streaming music from the internet.
For all the instances when you’ve had to use more than one type of audio equipment to accomplish the same task, having them consolidated into one unit would be a time-saver and easier on the budget. The PA419 is the first portable PA which can play audio from up to four different sources (CD/DVD player, USB, line in, docking station for iPhone & iPod). It consolidates all of this equipment so you can can play music from a CD or from MP3 files through its USB drive. But how can you play audio if you’ve got content in both sources? The PA419 can do it for you with the push of a simple button.
A seamless transition can be made between both the CD and USB formats by simply using the USB/DISC switch found on the PA419 and on its remote control. From a distance you can quickly interchange having music from a specific artist playing on CD in one instance and following that up with an audio interview recording with that same artist from the USB connection.
