Califone Upgrades Deluxe Multimedia Headset
One of the most widely supported components of any language program is the headset. Students listen and speak into it for modeling and call & response exercises. To help with these goals, Califone announced two improvements to its Deluxe Multimedia Headset (3066AV).
The first upgrade was to its element, which is used by the headset’s condenser mic to capture oral responses. The element is the component that generates the electric current from when the student speaks into the mic. The new headset mic creates clearer recordings and is less vulnerable to interference by static electricity. Volume playback was also improved so students could more clearly distinguish language subtleties.
In addition to the mic upgrade on the 3066AV headset, there’s a beefier cord for enhanced classroom durability and longevity.
“The Deluxe Multimedia Headset is used by NativeAccent by Carnegie Speech and other top instructional programs to convey critical content for literacy development,” shared Tim Ridgway, VP Marketing. “These enhancements will ensure the 3066AV will remain as the most appropriate headset choice by teachers for students to meet Common Core requirements.”
The Deluxe Multimedia Headset is one of the most rugged models built for institutional uses because its ABS plastic construction, which enables it to hold up to the demands of day-in and day-out classroom uses. The Deluxe Multimedia Headset is available individually and in packs of ten units with and without a storage case.
