Protecting your cutting surface is the function of a cutting mat, but there’s a lot more to Dahle North America’s Vantage Self-Healing Mats. These mats are self-healing and constructed using 5 layer design for maximum durability. The 1/8" PVC construction protects work surfaces from scratches, dents and messes. It’s this specialized formation of plastic that allows cuts to just disappear, maintaining a smoother surface— which greatly prolongs the life of the mat. For versatility, you can use the mat on both sides. Use the top with the rulers and guides for precise trimming, and use the reverse side for free-hand work. Each Vantage mat contains inch and metric measurements on the top surface as well as 1/2" grid lines, making these mats the perfect work surface for cutting, drawing and sewing. Whether you are cutting quilting squares, trimming photos, or creating works of art, align your work precisely with the .5” grid and inch and metric rulers. Diagonal cuts aren’t a problem with the 45° and 60° diagonal guides. They can be used on both sides and are available in black, blue, and the industry’s only crystal clear which is virtually transparent.
